I was recently on vacation in Grand Cayman, and found out about a popular tourist destination called the Cayman Turtle Farm. The “farm” kept a crocodile, sharks, and turtles in captivity, so I decided not to visit, but when researching it, I found out about their little-known secret. After the turtles that they breed at the farm reach about 4 years of age, THEY ARE KILLED FOR MEAT! I would like to ask anyone reading this NOT to visit this farm, and I think PETA should consider working on a campaign regarding them. There is plenty of information right from their website, and I have the e-mail address and names of the park owners.
Yes, I did end up doing that. In the process, I found out that WSPA (World Society for Protection of Animals) has already started asking their members not to support them. They’re actually the only farm that breeds and then kills turtles for meat, so people want them to stop.

All animal emergencies (injured, stray, neglected, abused, etc) should be reported to our Emergency Response Team, not posted on the Boards.
