So lucky that they were found. This is what I pray for every night. “God please help every animal in need & get them out of situations like this” Prayers really do work. Things like this break my heart & it’s hard to sleep at night to think what happens to these poor animals. I wanna do so much more I want to do what these people do & find the animals that need help & actually rescue them !

@NicoleLynn: The NDE thing can be explained with any ounce of scientific research, such as this:
    http://science.howstuffworks.com/science-vs-myth/extrasensory-perceptions/near-death-experience4.htm

So many people explain things with fantastical claims without thinking it out logically before doing so. Half of the claims made by people as “proof” of the supernatural realm can be explained away by the power of the human mind. We underestimate far too often just how much power resides between our ears.

@NicoleLynne: what about me doesn’t suit my username? Is this a comment about my personality? I’ll have you know I am a very pleasant person, and you have no right to judge me. This username means something to my best friend and I, and is honestly not your business. Also, there are videos of people talking about being abducted by aliens, if you are saying that testimonials are proof. Of course, you preach to me about your kind, generous loving God, and when I disagree, “Anywhoo if you want to end up in Hell thats your choice but you are on Earth right now your not in the pain that ppl suffer when they end up there so if you do end up in Hell you won’t like it guarantee that & you will wish you were never there.” I don’t believe in an afterlife, so perhaps my denial will carry me through. However, if I do end up burning in hell, I’ll make the best of it with all my friends, “infidels” each and every one of them. I am perfectly happy this way, and you do not need to rescue or criticize me. I believe in peace, love and happiness; and that is why i am on this board, not for a conversion. Good night.

There is this story where this lady shot herself & she talks about seeing hell then God tells her its not her time something like that.. there is a video you could probably google it or something yahoo it & find it or you might find stories on the same thing just different ppl. There was a really good one about this boy he had something worng with him I’ not sure what but I saw it on yahoo.. instead of talking about it he wrote his experince on note cards and showed everyone who watched his story.. he had actually died and came back to life a couple times because of what he has..but he would talk about seeing God & stuff that would be a good one to watch if you wanted too(the boy is in Heaven now though). Heaven sounds like a beautiful place and it’s ashame if not everyone gets to end up there.

@ peace.. you should really change your username cuz thats not you. Anywhoo if you want to end up in Hell thats your choice but you are on Earth right now your not in the pain that ppl suffer when they end up there so if you do end up in Hell you won’t like it guarantee that & you will wish you were never there.

I don’t know how exactly God works but I know God takes children that die young at an age they can’t understand what God is.. As for people who don’t know about God like have no way of finding about him God just might take them too idk.. but some day I will. But more & more people are saved everyday from everywhere missionaries go out & try to preach to the ones who have never seen a Bible b.c of where they live or whatever the case is & they are greatful for it & so am i.

@NicoleLynne: My friends aren’t all Christian, and my closest friends aren’t Christian at all. My family is not Christian, very few important people in my life are. Even on the off chance that your religion is right, I’d rather burn in hell for eternity with the people I care about. I know your answer would probably be; “convert them”; but many of them are very dedicated to the religion or lack of religion they cherish. I wouldn’t want to be separated from them for all eternity, and the all-loving God who is deep-frying us in hell wouldn’t either. (Wait…)

@NicoleLynn: Again, if you didn’t read the link, if you weren’t God’s child when Jesus “came back” as they thought he was the only immortal being and was going to come back, not that he was taken up, full body, into heaven(that was added a full century after the first books were written, which were written about 40 years after he supposedly died) you didn’t burn eternally. You were just dead. You weren’t going to be tortured, there was no hell, there was nothing. You just weren’t going to be given immortality with him if you didn’t follow his teachings. You wouldn’t find “heaven” (peace within) if you didn’t follow his teachings. It wasn’t until the church began mixing elements of Helenistic mythology with Christianity that hell was developed, as a Christian version of the Greek idea of Hades.

Also, think of the various indigenous people who have never heard of God. With your logic, every single one of them, who have never heard of the biblical concept of god, would burn eternally. That doesn’t sound like an all loving God, as you describe him. So what’s the point of following him, even if he is real? So you can live on forever? That’s pretty selfish.

“Some have experienced death and live to tell.’ Oh really? Why does that sound like an oxymoron? So you believe that all BCE people and all non-Christians will be condemned to hell forever. Sounds fair, though I’m sure every other religion will clamor that it is the closest to God and that you will go to hell instead. I don’t believe that religion should be a public thing. If you have faith, that’s wonderful, but it is private. This especially applies to religion in government and religious wars. When a politician has to be the religion of the majority to get elected, something is very wrong in this country.

When Jesus was on the cross thats when people had to ask for forgiveness & ask to be saved so those are only God’s children & when you die God will look in his book and if you are not in it your not his child. Thats how I picture it, it may be different. No one really knows till they die. But some have experienced death and lived to tell.. about God .

I read the bible yes. Not as much as I should though.. But some people interpret the Bible King James version differently.

@NicoleLynn Have you actually read the entire Bible? I’ve read bits and pieces (first three books of the Old Testament, first seven books of the New Testament, half of the Book of Revelations, and various verses throughout the Bible in isolation from when I was attempting to brainwash myself into being Christian. I’m working my way through it right now). And plus, the development of Hell didn’t happen until later in church history.

    http://30ce.com/developmentofhell.htm

Also, recently, I watched an episode of Through the Wormhole, and an interesting experiment was conducted. They found that when just a gentle electrical charge was emitted into a certain part of the brain, perfect religious experiences were produced. The subjects in question always said they saw and were aware of multiple beings in the room, one subject saying they even saw fire and smelled things. But only once that part of the brain had been stimulated. Now, imagine if this happened at home (which could happen, because the charge was about the amount given off by a blow dryer), or at a church, or some other place, it could be misunderstood as a religious experience. And the question was raised of whether religion was started and continued by superstitious people not understanding how their minds worked. How simple stimuli could effect their senses and perceptions of the world around them.

Also, scientists have almost completely replicated strands of rNA, the basic building blocks of life, using only the conditions that were an influence on early Earth. Back when it was a baby. Amino acids are created through a simple process of heating up and cooling down water, like what happened on early earth, and letting it stay stagnant for seven days. Which…amino acids are the building blocks of life. And from that, people have been able to further replicate the exact conditions of early earth as science knows it to be today based on research and evidence, and as of when the show was made (2010), made rNA. They were halfway to making strands of dNA, by natural means replicated in a lab. They could very well be creating life.

It’s not magic. God fills in the gaps of what we don’t know, and we’re starting to understand a lot more about our origins and the nature of the universe than we previously did. It’s easier to point at things you don’t understand and say, “God did it” as a way to explain the rest. Isaac Newton did it, Galileo did it, Copernicus did it. Lots of great minds did it. But we’ve progressed to the point that to call God into the equation is unnecessary. If he exists, he’s obviously not how people have made him out to be to fit their own bigotry and meet their own wants and “needs”.

Isn’t rapture about not thinking, but rather, having blind faith in a deity which may or may not exist? Therefore, how is making them think effective? And if “God’s children” (hmm, all related to Jesus now?) have to survive some awful rapture, isn’t that beside the point? And if we’re all God’s creations, and all God’s creations are going to heaven, than no one’s going to hell, so what’s the point of believing, anyway? God is supposedly omniscient, right, so we all must look really unintelligent. Therefore, the intelligence difference between humans and animals would be rendered small, and we would all be forgiving. Besides, would a loving God condemn so many people to hell just because they didn’t believe. Oh… Yes.

I am getting the word out so people won’t spend eternity in a horrible place it makes them think. & I am not sure about how the whole rapture thing will turn out, but I do know that God won’t take his children until after the rapture then I think there will be no world left so there won’t be any animals left obvisouly. I’m sure God has his creations in Heaven, but no one should end up in Hell.
