• Cheap vegan cosmetics (in Canada)?

I’ve heard rumours that Revlon recently started testing on animals again, and it’s been my number one source of foundation and liquid eye liner. Most of my other products come from Physician’s Formula Organics, but does anyone know of good coverup (that can be bought in Canada) that isn’t high-priced?

And does anyone know of a good list for Canadian cosmetics? Thanks!

@DearNickee Skin79 does not have any vegan products. At least last time I checked.

I found the greatest company for cosmetics, they’re not Canadian but I live in Ontario and the shipping was only $1.50, and they are 100% vegan AND cheap!

The BUAV say they have a campaign to get them on leaping bunny, so they don’t test on animals apart from in China where it is required.
If you’re strict don’t use it, if you’re not, then you can use it, it’s your decision.

e.l.f cosmetics and Almay are cruelty free brands that provide amazing face & eye make up. They are also very affordable. e.l.f eyeshadows, mascaras and liners vary from $5 to $15 and Almay Truly Lasting Color (TLC) foundation can be found at most stores for $15 to $20.

I just use the Physician’s Formula power after I apply cream and it has really good coverage. I do not know if they are vegan but I know Almay, wet and wild, and bonnebell do not test on animals. My favorite non-testing company would have to bh cosmetics but you can only order their products online.

I prefer BB cream over foundation, it’s not as heavy but has more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. It’s perfect for me as I have good skin anyway. :) Most brands I know are from Korea, so I have to order online but they do not test on animals. The brand I use is Skin79.

@aeriaronzo, I swear by e.l.f. cosmetics: http://bit.ly/Tg3yL. Be sure to check out our cruelty-free shopping guide, too, for a gigantic list of companies that don’t test: http://bit.ly/povXIC. E-mail us at peta2@peta2.com if you have any more questions! -Whitney from peta2
