Really? I’m sorry you got a stale package=/ They go stale pretty fast.

I was dancing in the store when I saw these, I had heard of them but didn’t think I would ever find them, and I didn;t want to sell my kidney for sweet and sara marshmallows. I thought they were amazing. They had the exact same taste and texture as non vegan marshmallows, the friend I was with at the time and I had my dad try them and he thought the exact same thing. We even made s’mores with them and they caught fire beautifully, lol. The only problem I had was they don’t melt in hot cocoa =/

I tried them and I made whoopie pies with them. I really don’t like them as much as Sweet & Sara’s, though.

Another vegan product I had my eye on for a long time and decided to order it from Pangea (veganstore.com) along with my Go Max Go candy bars is Dandies Vegan Marshmallows (http://www.chicagoveganfoods.com/dandies_vegan_marshmallows/).

I’ve had Sweet & Sara’s Marshmallows (http://www.sweetandsara.com/) before but still wanted to try these ones.

I got them on Monday and almost instantly opened the bag and and tried two of them. They are okay sweet and puffy not exactly like actual marshmallows a little gritty almost. I don’t know if I got a bit of an older pack or if they just go bad rather quickly. As I got it on 1/28 and the “best by” date is 2/8 (that is less than 2 weeks to eat!) and I ordered them late on 1/24 so they were packed and shipped 1/25 and probably would have got to my house a day earlier if it weren’t for Sunday.

That’s okay though because I will likely just use most of them to make something like rice krispies! Anyone else ever try Dandie’s Vegan Marshmallows did you do anything besides eat them straight out of the package haha?
