So if you haven’t been hearing a lot about Chick-fil-A lately you probably live under a rock. 😛
It is now known that Chick-fil-A holds a anti-gay stance and donates money to anti-gay organizations. Now I see a bunch of human equality protests starting up at Chick-fil-A’s which is awesome! I’ve seen a few protests joined in by animal rights activists as well too. I know peta2 and other animal rights organizations like Mercy for Animals openly support LGBT rights, there probably isn’t an animal rights organization that doesn’t as that doesn’t make sense. I know I myself would be proud to protest against Chick-fil-A for both human equality and animal rights!
So this is basically just a post to try and help get the ball rolling. As now is a great opportunity to protest against a company that is against both human equality and animal rights.
@NicoleLynne As my brother already stated, please stop putting: “gays”. When I put something in quotation marks, it means one of two things.
1) I’m writing dialogue.
2) I’m being sarcastic.
Since you are not referring to a character or person speaking, you must be using those words in a tone of voice leaning towards sarcasm. Someone’s sexual orientation is not something to be sarcastic about. It is really offensive and unnecessary to be doing so, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would refer to the LGBT community with respect and dignity. That would be the proper thing to do.
We don’t have Chick-fil-A over here in England (as far as I’m aware anyway), and I’m rather glad we don’t.
I’ve heard the name come up however online, but I had no idea what all the controversy was about, and I find it quite astounding how in this day and age this crap still happens. O_o
Also after looking at Chick-Fil-A’s twitter I’m even more confused by their cow costume day events…. whuuuut?
I hate how everyone is like “stop busting on chickfila, they are just using free speech and your being hypocritical when you say….bla bla bla etc.”
well just because we DONT believe that what you are doing right, and are standing up for it, doesnt mean we are hypocritical. we are just standing up to our fellow people that are being hated on just because of their sexuality.
