• Circus Protest: HELP!!!

“Barley Circus” is in cd. Juarez, Chihuahua (Mexico). I organized a protest and have some support, but most people are saying this is a circus that “treats their animals very well”.
We wanted to proceed legally, like we succesfully did last year with another circus, but I went to take pictures to the “free zoo” of the circus and none of the animals have visible wounds. I took some videos of stressed animals, like a camel that was balancing side to side, and I don’t know if that will be enough.
We’re dressing in white and holding signs, the protest will take place this weekend.
Any advice would be appreciated, like phrases for our signs, ideas to catch people attention, and ideas on how to answer when people tell us that those animals “look fat and healthy”.
Thank you guys so much! ♥

    Hi @mcrkarol!

That’s great you’re holding a protest, thanks for speaking up for animals! There’s a great resource on our site for making signs for protesting the circus: http://www.peta2.com/blog/the-diy-activist/

You’ll be able to print circus leaflets directly from that blog! It’s important to remind people that the circus abuses, kidnaps, exploits, beats, and imprisons animals.

Good luck! You can email us at peta2@peta2.com if you need more help getting organized :)
