Okay. I was just informed of a potential injustice present in the biology labs and I was wondering what I should do to take action! I have recently been told by my roommate (pharmacy major) that their class performed an observation of baby chickens. These babies were cracked open from their eggs prematurely and put into petri dishes, completely alive. They squiggled and squirmed during their observation times and then died and were bagged. I understand some things are “mandatory” in the name of science, but this just seems so different to me.

@TeeterDance there are no animal policies that I know of, because most of the labs are dissection.

Does the uni have any policies on animal testing or using animals in the labs?
