    When, if ever, did you experience cravings and what did you do about them?

    I don’t really have meat cravings, but when I first went vegetarian I would have dreams about eating meat and then waking up disgusted about it. But now being a (struggling) vegan I do crave cheese sometimes, though I know how disgusting it is. It was one of my favorite foods as a non-veg and also a vegetarian and sometimes I still go back to thinking “oh, man… some cheese pizza would sound SO good.” Also, sometimes I miss things like egg salad, scrambled eggs, and potato salad made with nonvegan mayo, etc; I ate those a lot also as both a non-veg and a vegetarian. When I had those cravings for the longest time I would just give in (awful, I know) because they would usually be right in front of me at a family gathering or something. But I’m getting much better at my own self-control and stopping myself from eating things I know aren’t vegan. Now, when I experience I craving I just bite my tongue and try to think about something else or go binge on a vegan snack (if it’s available.)

    i dont have any vegan shops, my area is extremely fat, overrun with mcdonalds on every corner. If you find something to do, your craving will literally last for about 10 minuites, or i find alternatives. Like for sweets i make the raw vegan alternative of icecream made with frozen bananas and strawberries

    go to the local farming market, they have amazing food that are vegan <3

    @newyork409 Try Enjoy Life. They make vegan chocolate chips like dark and semisweet.
