^.^ I recently went to the Animal Liberation Forum and met tons of awesome animal rights organizations and activists. Although peta can be great with organizing events, offering materials, and missions for us to do out and inside our homes. I encourage you to see what other organizations are out there and what groups are around you. I just went to a protest with this group Progress for Science : D and they were so fun and sweet. ^.^ Someone even brought their rat who was so adorable.
Remember we must not follow a group, we must be part of a group. Organizations all need to come together as one. Nothing but animal lovers so that we have large numbers and a bigger impact. ^.^ Gather up people in and out of peta :]
Mercy For Animals
Progress for Science
Compassion over Killing
Last Chance for Animals
There are so many more 😀 But I can’t think right now
So true about us needing to come together.
There’s a huge number of us now but we’re spread out all over the damn place.
Generally speaking, we animal rights activists don’t organize/collaborate efficiently.
That is something that needs to change somehow.
I’m familiar with Mercy for Animals (my friend interned there), Vegan Outreach, and Compassion Over Killing – all really great organizations! I definitely agree that even though the organizations have different names, the cause is the same, and we should definitely join together! The more, the merrier!
