    have you seen the shark week discovery commercial where there all these people that save a seal and then they go to release it then all of a sudden a shark comes a eats it, its very disturbing is there something we can do or I can do ?

    Sorry, but this is called the natural process. If it’s fake, then there ‘no cruelty done because it is an enactment. If it’s real, then this is called the circle of life and there is nothing to be done, nor should there be.

    I just watched it.
    I thought it was supposed to be real. Like footage of a group of people having actually saved a seal, which got eaten by a shark when they released it.
    It’s pretty unlikely that they’ll remove it from the air, seeing as how it was all staged, and CGI.
    But good luck.

    You could e-mail them your complaints – but it’s not like this is an animal cruelty type thing. Seals get eaten by sharks, sometimes. That’s nature.
    I haven’t personally seen the commercial – I don’t have a TV, but if they get enough complaints, they may stop running it.
