• Dissection in AP Biology!

I’m taking AP Bio next year, and I already know that dissections in this class are really common, at least twice a semester. I live in California, so we have the dissection choice policy, and my teacher’s rule is that if you don’t want to dissect, you at least have to watch.
I don’t even want to be in the room!
Does the law protect me if I want to do something completely different? Or is my only choice to fail the project?
