    Hiya All!

We all know someone who won’t try veg*nism just on the animal rights arguments, but ‘Do The Green Thing’ has some excellent environmental resources that might help convince those stubborn friends to “go easy on the meat”.

Annie has already given you the perfect answer: supply and demand. However also think about this: if you love animals, then why do you eat them? I don’t destroy or harm anything that I love.

The problem is by buying and eating meat, you’re supporting the meat industry and its horrible treatmeant of animals.

    Hey @peacelovesarahh,

It’s a simple game of supply and demand–the fewer people who eat meat, the fewer animals who will need to be killed to end up on a plate. Also–by going vegan, you’ll be saving more than 100 animals a year! Pretty awesome, huh? :)

Honest question- if the meat is already made and ready to be bought-what’s the harm in eating it? They won’t stop selling it. I love eating hamburgers…I’m not a bad person. I love animals and a HUGE elephant lover. But do you know what I’m saying? (I’m not trying to be rude. It’s an honest question)
