• Does the Shell Gas Company Test on Animals?

I was filling my car up and as I was reading different information (like the do’s and do not’s while fueling, and government offenses, etc) and I saw that the last thing listed was about the fumes.
When I saw that it said that long exposure (or something similar to those words) was known to cause cancer to animals, I was immediately concerned and curious.
And I’m sorry that I can’t quote what it said word for word, I saw it a few days ago and was finally able to ask about it. I googled to try to see if I can find it, but I had no luck.
Does anyone know? I don’t want to support that place if they do such things.

“We recognise the dilemma of balancing potential animal suffering against, in some cases, the lack of a reliable alternative to ensure that new products are safe for people and the environment. We are working to reduce the number of animals used to test our products, to make test methods as humane as possible, and to replace animal tests wherever possible.”

So that’s a huge YES, they do test on animals.
