I was told by a man on the “a dog named Guccie” web site that if I see a dog locked in a car i should call 911. The police force in my town wouldnt take very kindly to a dog in a car being an emergency call :(. so what do i call? a non emergency number? i dont know, but im surly not going to stand by and just let it happen. i am the voice.

    Hey @punkveggie,

If the dog’s life is in immediate danger you should call the emergency number and animal control. If you’re ever unsure please call PETA’s emergency line right away at 757-622-7382 and press 2.
