Im pretty sure we all get this, or at least most of us. Never in my life have I been able to talk to my parents about them going vegetarian with out getting “I get it, your a vegetarian. You don’t have to lecture me every time I eat meat.” What’s my favourite response? “Why” Just ask why you cant talk to them about meat, and they get all frustrated and stuff, ‘cuz no one can come up with a good response! “Because I don’t like it” “I don’t like it when you eat meat in front of me” “It annoys me” “It annoys me when I see you supporting the slaughter industry” Believe me, it works.

    guys… I posted this almost a year ago…
Anyways, im pretty sure I didnt say to lecture them. Just ask them why you cant talk to them about meat. chances are they wont let you and you wont need to worry about anything. (just in my experience)

I try not to lecture because it will actually cause them to resist the idea more. However, if someone does have a sincere question or have been given untrue information I will clarify the facts and give my argument on the matter.

Sometimes people push and push about the subject and you can’t NOT talk back, and defend your decisions.
