Double paw trouble for my cat?

I love my cat. She’s a black cat, named Mandolin and she’s a lovely girl!
She has double paws, and her dew claw (I believe that’s what it’s called) is always hurting her. It’s ingrown and she is always in pain.
Do I just get that one claw removed? I’m against declawing cats 100%, but I just can’t bare to see my baby in pain.
Any suggestions on what to do to help her?
