Okay so I just ate eggs but they’re from my own chickens who aren’t harmed in any way but I still feel so guilty! Am I in the clear or shunned for ever? Haha..

Being vegan isn’t about shunning people, it’s about making changes that help animals and inspire people. Keep in mind that we all make mistakes, as this on-point blog demonstrates:

Now, leave those eggs off the table and go with a tofu scramble instead! According to PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) eggs are harmful to your health because they increase your risk of heart diseases and diabetes. You don’t need that!

Best way to end the guilt: don’t eat the eggs!
I agree with @Sagojyou though, if you’re not vegan then it’s fine to eat them. Otherwise, just give them away to others.

If you’re not vegan, I think it’s fine.
If you are, well, we all make mistakes, so it’s okay. Just don’t next time.
I’d give it away to neighbors or sell it at farmers markets! I’ve seen it done before, and rather than having them go to complete waste, why not make money and use that money to help animals by donating to charities and whatnot? Just a suggestion 😉
