I’ve never eaten tofu before, and a just got a pack of extra firm but I’m not sure what to do with it. My dad’s grilling out and we have corn and baked potatoes to eat, so something that would go with that would be great. I am a very unadventerous eater, so simpler the better! If anyone could give me some yummy tofu recipes, that would be great. Thanks!

    Make yummy wraps!
Cut it in strips, cook in a frying pan and then put it in a wrap just like anything else! Lettuce, tomato, vegenaise! (*cheese)

The simplest thing you can do with extra firm tofu is to cut it into thick slices or cubes and marinate them in your favorite marinade sauce or barbecue sauce for a day or two in a covered plastic container. Every few hours or so, shake it around for better coverage. The longer you marinate it, the better it gets. Then pair it with rice and veggies or throw into a salad.

You can marinate tofu in things like: flavoured alcohols, soy sauce, other sauces or spices and then batter & fry them, or just slice and cook in the oven or grill.

You can buy softer tofu to scramble it up with veggies for a great scrambled egg substitute.

You can cut tofu into chunks or strips, put some sauce on them and throw it into a stir fry.
