This book is also kind of about animal rights, it’s a woman named Ellie Laks who owns an animal rescue. She rescues animals from poor conditions, it’s called My Gentle Barn. Enjoy the read!
As far parts of “Elizabeth Costello” by J. M. Coetzee
Slaughterhouse. It was such an insight into the meat industry…including things many people don’t know. Must read.

Animal Rights by Patricia Curtis (it has a wolf on the cover) is the book that made me first become vegetarian.
Hmmmm I haven’t read an animal rights book in its entirety YET. I am nearly through “Vegan Freak: Being Vegan in a Non-Vegan World” and… I dunno I am enjoying so far.
I like that one, too.
Does anyone know what happened to the Vegan Freaks (Bob and Jenna)? I used to listen to their podcasts then they just disappeared, no word on their website either
All animal emergencies (injured, stray, neglected, abused, etc) should be reported to our Emergency Response Team, not posted on the Boards.
Just an individual trying to establish my individuality.
