Dogs naturally prefer meat but CAN be put on a vegetarian diet, unfortunately Cats don’t absorb plant nutrients very well so need meat

Are there any cats that are a complete vegan?(I have heard of it being ok for dogs but cats they say it’s a no no, that they need it or they will die I saw it on a show on animal planet.) Does anyone have a complete vegan or vegitarian cat? & I know that cows grown up on just a regular farm that eventually get a nail gun to the head would be the most humane way to take care of and eat.

But what we can do, is buy our cats and dogs petfood that is the most humane we can find.

But yes, I do feel very bad for the animal that died for the food I give them.

But just remember, the animals who had to be slaughtered for the meat will be rewarded in heaven for what they had to suffer.

Good question, here’s my opnion I think you should feed your dog or cat meat that was from animals who were killed as humane as possible. For instance, some petfood like kosher. I don’t know if they have that or not because I haven’t bothered looking it up because my mom said she’s not going to change the catfood were buying right now. So I think you should buy the most humane brand of dog or catfood you can find.

My Cousin Fed Her Cat A Veg Diet And Her Cat Suffered From Heart Problems And got Really sick After that So she Switched her Back To A Diet that inluded meat and she Got Better Slowly so I Think they NEED The meat in their diet. Its okay for humans to be veg but not animals

I don’t feel bad, cats and dogs are carnivores. Taking away something that feels natural to them, is unnatural. o:

cats are carnivores. I feel her meat. It would be animal cruelty to force her onto a vegan diet imo.

I do feel bad. But I also think it’s unfair to throw my morals on a cat that can’t really make the decision for herself. If there was am easy alternative that is vegan, I would DEFINITELY go for it (as long as it was healthy for her).

I am not happy with where the meat comes from .. but they are supposed to eat meat .. I kinda have a problem with not feeding them meat…

my parents wont let me change my cats food to vegitarian food becuase they say “the change will stress him out” what they dont understand is i know how to properly switch the type of food a cat eats. and i feel really bad because i feed him science diet and i feel in m gut they est there food on animals which is just terrible, its so hard being 14 and trying to fight my parents! :/

I don’t have a pet, but I wouldn’t. If you’re vegan, why feed nonvegan food?

I read in All Animals mag that the Humane Society has a vegan pet food called Humane I think… It’s all organic too.
