So i do my best to be vegan but my mother makes dinner and gets very upset if i dont eat my whole dinner. tell her im old enough to make my own choices and that im going to be living on my own very soon so i can learn to make my own food. But when she makes dinner thats non vegan and i dont eat it she gets upset and forces me to eat it.
Ive offered to buy my own vegan foods even. but she always tosses them out.
Any tips? Im going to moving out soon hopefully but my money goes twords helping with bills here, so to save up, it will take time.
First off, it you’re mom seems very rude to throw out food you bought for yourself. To avoid her throwing out more food I suggest trying to buy nonperishable food and hide it in your room. There are also many accidentally vegan foods you can eat. Eventually, she’ll have to realize that you are serious about your choice.
