Although I’m fairly certain group supervisors aren’t the usual process for societies at British Universities as groups are normally approved by the Students’ Union instead, but I will definitely be in touch on the email address soon

Hey @comradechristy,
That’s awesome that you want to start a PETA student group! Once you have a group of friends together to start the group, try finding a teacher or administrator you guys feel comfortable with, and ask him or her to be the group’s supervisor. E-mail us at peta2@peta2.com and we can send you all the info, free stickers, leaflets, and DVDs you’ll need to get started.

Myself and a few others are hoping to launch a PETA society at our university, as we feel that animal rights need to become a bigger issue in student politics here. Do you have any advice for doing this??
