I actually didn’t have any friends that are on this sight at all…non of my friends but one is vegetarian but she doesn’t have a peta account. I think its cool that i can find friends on here that have the same thoughts as i do! granted i don’t have very many on here yet but i just started adding ppl on here a few days ago even though ive had my account for awhile.

In my opinion,it shouldn’t be that weird because we must increase our network considering the small number of people we are.
The bigger our network is,the stronger is our voice!

Maybe you can just not talk to some random person,but just having them on your network here will mean joining hands with them for our cause.

I don’t think its weird, this is partially a social network where you communicate with others about different topics and things like that. Most websites like this have the option of “friending” someone, to me its no big deal either way. It just gives me a chance talk with other people that share the same thoughts or ideas with me.

I’ll agree, it’s kind of strange seeing people who have never posted on the boards or had any activity on their profile request my friendship. I add everyone though, friends are always welcomed! I worried at first that I was being trolled, but becoming friends on the street team doesn’t seem to unlock additional information from my profile.

I wonder if some are just lurkers. (Hey, if you’re reading this.. don’t be shy! We want to hear from you too. Also, if you click “take action” at the top of the page you can do some missions that will earn you points to redeem for FREE things in the store!)

I friend anyone and everyone on here if they want to be my friend lol. On more personal websites like Facebook I generally don’t add random people (I have a select few strangers on facebook right now to play WeTopia and Joy Kingdom with me) Honestly there isn’t that much of a point to the friend system on here so I really don’t care.

I “friend” people on here because I do want to make them feel welcomed if they are new as well as be available if they want advice or something. There isn’t really any difference though since there is not much you can do with them on the site being friends with them that you couldn’t when you weren’t friends with them. Does that make sense? I think they just want it to seem more like an animal-friendly social network. XD I’m not opposed to making new friends though.

I don’t think I’ve ‘friended’ anyone on here because there doesn’t seem much point to the system. I’m happy to chat with anyone on the boards (except trolls!) so I don’t see the need to ‘friend’ anyone.

It’s really REALLY weird when people I’ve never seen before send me a friendship request. O__________O
If you’re either really active on the board or I know you before the website changed (like dad, Dagmar, LittleLotte, SammyFord, FAR or hakred), then I will “friend” you, but otherwise, I’m not going to.
What’s your thought? (Also, I don’t have fb so I think being “friends” with someone that randomly sends a request is weird, because they’re not really your “friends”. Just saying)
