• Fully Raw.

Recently I’ve been looking a lot into having a fully raw vegan lifestyle. I started to curve towards eating veggies and fruits that haven’t been altered by canning or cooking. Now when I eat processed foods and sometimes meat I feel incredibly sick. Am I taking this all too fast? Like should I first try to be vegan before going fully raw. Is becoming fully raw unhealthy? A few people told me that I won’t get enough minerals and vitamins. I looked into it and I can get a lot of them from grains, fruits/veggies, and seeds/nuts. Give me your thoughts please.

I think I will start going to the doctors more often to make sure that I’m getting everything I need for a healthy lifestyle.

That’s a GREAT decision! =D I’m sure as you go along, everything will become easier and more natural-feeling. =) Although, a health check-up with a doctor couldn’t hurt regularly to make sure you’re getting all your nutrients.

Thank you all so much! I think I’m going to do as all of you said and go vegan before going fully raw. :)

I’d go completely vegan before I found my way around a raw lifestyle, that is up to you though. A raw vegan diet can be quite healthy! So glad to hear that you’ve decided to go vegan. :)

I agree with the others, it might be best to start vegan and slowly go raw, that way you can give yourself plenty of time to research the diet and how to ensure you get a good balance.

I’m vegan and I try to take on the raw diet for 3-4 days at least once every couple of months – it’s a great detox!

that’s great that you want to become a raw vegan! However, i would suggest starting maybe 3 or four days a week, and having processed vegan foods the rest of the time until you adjust to the vegan diet. :D Good luck with everything!

While I’m not on a raw diet, it is the healthiest choice out there (as long as you’re vegan!) Since you’re not having anything processed you’re just having straight up veggies, so you get more of the nutrients which get lost during processing, have more energy, and feel healthier! If you can do it and are fully motivated I say go ahead and give it a try :]
