• Getting animals adopted

Since my senior project with my friends, I have begun to walk dogs at my local animal shelter. Because of this, I have become a tiny bit attached to some of them and wish that they would find homes. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can help them find homes, despite not being an official volunteer or knowing anyone who would like these particular dogs.

Here is one that I particularly wish would find a home, since she’s been there a long time despite being the sweetest, most obedient dog there:

She’s in Clarks Summit, PA, but might not be able to go to a home with other animals, especially cats.

Yea or like Dagmar says setting up events or you can take them to events already happening in the area. Just getting them out to where a lot of the public already is like parades, events, festivals, etc.

You could print out small flyers/posters and hang them up at different bulletin boards around town. I think that might work a bit better as most people on facebook and twitter etc are younger people who can’t adopt an animal yet.

Maybe setting up some adoption event or try posting on Twitter and Facebook. I hope they find good homes.

Hiya! Mackenzie here. There's lots to me, but I'll keep it short. I'm the kind of person who is only tolerable when I'm in a decent mood. I'm quick to snap. I'm not a peoples person, and I don't get along with many people. But when it comes to animals, I'll fall in love with any at first sight. They're all so amazing! I've always gotten along with animals so well. Even the most "aggressive" ones. I also really love fashion and lookin' good. Vegan cosmetics are always in style!
