For anyone who doesn’t know what GMOs are, they are Genetically Modified Organisms. Many of the livestock and crops are manipulated to have genetics different than known. Long story short, it’s not what you want to eat. My question is if you know any good GMO-free food that is also vegan. I know organics are for one.

The soy protein powder that I buy online is GMO-free and the soy milk that I occasionally buy at the grocery store is GMO-free.

Yeah I like to know that too b.c that is the reason they say soy is bad.

I’m trying to avoid GMO soy, just because I’ve been eating a lot of it and I know it’s not great for you. (But with Thanksgiving coming up, I’m putting that aside for a day so I can eat me some Tofurky. ;) )

I know that the Dr. Praeger’s veggie burgers are GMO free. So is soy-free Earth Balance butter substitute. Nasoya tofu I believe is GMO free, or atleast the soy is.

I’m not sure if you can find Rapeseed oil in the US but if you can get it.
This is because Canola oil is a GMO product which would have been rapeseed oil if the flowers were grown in their natural state.

I know silk is GMO-free, but some people won’t buy since it’s owned by the dairy industry.
Here are some vegan and GMO-free foods.

Gardein, Daiya and Lightlife are all gmo free! Watch out for Boca… I used to get their chikn patties, but they use gmo soy. I check labels no matter what. If it isn’t organic, it’ll say gmo free somewhere on the box. If it doesn’t, and has corn or soy in it, which I’m sure you know are two of the most commonly gmo foods, I don’t get it.
