My friend said she’s tried many vegan/non-animal tested skin lotion, and said all of them dried out her skin! Since I don’t use any I can’t give her a vegan advice.

    So, what do you use?

I have never heard of lotion drying someone’s skin out, but whatever.

There’s baby oil! Holy crap does that moisturize your skin, but since it is oil, it’s better to put on your hands before bed.
There’s also kiss my face. I’m a lotion/bath product junkie, and that has to be one of the best I’ve ever used. Pricey but well worth it since a little goes a long way with that stuff.

I have used some of these. Yes to carrots, kiss my face, and live clean.

Shea butter is great! I’ve got super dry hands and legs and lotions just don’t do anything but shea butter really helps. I get it from iHerb…they always seem to have the best prices. You can get lotions, vitamins and snacky things there too!

Anything from Lush is recommended :)

EcoTools had a great hand lotion and body lotion (‘Eco Tools Sustainable Softness’ and ‘One Hand Helps the Other’), but it looks like they don’t make them anymore! Thankfully I still have my stash but it’s pretty saddening. ):
