1. If you go to chapters or your equivalent bookstore (or even library) and look at the cookbooks there should be some vegetarian/vegan ones and there is a high chance there will be some form of college cook book, and that means fast easy and cheap!
2. I prefer Almond milk to drink and soy milk to cook with. Mainly because I love the nutty taste of almond milk but drinking soy milk it has an odd after taste.
3. I have been vegetarian for 3 1/2 years and I forget why I went vegetarian. But I stay vegetarian for religious reasons.
The recipes PETA has up here are good and cheap. I really like wraps and burritos and salads for quick meals. The peta burritio that you bale in the oven is really yummy. For breakfast I like smoothies or quinoa breakfast bowls.
I like soy milk because its less nutty than almond milk.
I went vegan for several reasons, health, animals, moral, weightloss.
