• Hello everyone, I need some strong advice/help.

    Over a year ago

    Through little research & long time of thinking near the end of June, I decided that I wanted to change my life-style & go vegetarian. I feel more & more disgusted with eating meat through the past couple months of my life. My bestfriend that I’ve known since seventh grade has been vegetarian for almost three years so she showed me the ropes in a sense on what to eat (Whole Foods), etc. When I talked to my parents through time about this, they supported me completely. I was going strong for three weeks or so but I kept feeling weak & feeling like I was going to blackout. My parents told me that feeling extremely weak & feeling like blacking out was extremely unhealthy. We agreed that when I research a lot more & figure things out then I can go back. I need help from you guys, if you’re willing to talk to me. Can I please have tips & other things to help me?

    Thank you for replying to my post. I usually eat cereal & have a protein shake in the morning. Near the lunchtime area, I’d have (meatless by the way) pizzas, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. Soup would be another one. During the dinnertime, it was pretty much the same thing as lunch over again, including whatever vegetables or other sides we had that night.

    Thank you for continuing your veggie endeavors even after that experience, many people give up after something like that, and simply assume they are actually physically incapable of being a vegetarian or vegan. It’s most likely that you were just lacking in a nutrient. While being a vegetarian or vegan is quite easy, it does take a little extra effort to ensure you’re getting adequate nutrients, but it becomes second nature over time, once you know exactly what you need :)
    Can you give me an example of what you would eat in a day?
