For the snow, I’d recommend water proof dog boots. You can find and purchase them online with a quick Google search.

yea i don’t know how much he’ll like them at first, i know he’ll like it more then all the ice and snow tho.

aww hah my family has a dachshund and we live in Ohio so get some pretty heavy winters so we got him booties and a coat. He doesn’t care for the booties at all he normally doesn’t want to walk in them or he shakes his paws until the come off so then there is just a booty or two laying around in the snow. We also always just make sure to shovel around the back door steps and grass area so he can out to the bathroom without freezing his paws. We used to have a great dane and one time they were both outside in the winter and my dad said Auggie (our dachshund) yelped and cried so loud that he thought Lurch (our great dane) may have stepped on him or his foot. Really though he just didn’t want to move because he got slush between his toes and his feet were really cold so its definitely a good idea to get booties.

well wasn’t sure where to post this, hope here is okay.
i’ve been looking for some where to by dog botties, for walks. i know the pavement gets really hot, so we’ve been walking at night. But winters on it’s way, and were in Canada so he definitely needs something on his feet. I’ve asked around a few places and eveyone looked at me like i had 4 heads. “shoes for your dog? eww”. Some people, anywho hope yous can help.
