I found countless adult cat vegan foods, but not any for kittens. Would it be okay to just feed him an adult diet or can someone provide me with a homemade vegan kitten food that I can add the powder to? Thank you!!!!!!

cats nor kittens are vegans, they are obligate carnivores, also the vegetables are poisonous for them. And if you try to feed the vegan that would be consider a form of animal abuse. think of the malnutrition that you may cause. There have been cases when the person tried to feed their cat vegan and the poor animal almost died. Please consider the facts and remember to visit the Vets

You don’t. Cats are obligate carnivores. They have a short intestinal tract, meaning they can not properly absorb nutrition from non animal sources. Dogs are omnivores and can be fed vegan. Cats? No. Especially a kitten. They need extra nutrition to grow. Because it can’t get the nutrition it needs you are effectively starving it to death slowly. If you love animals, study them and understand their biology enough to know when something is good for them, and when you are causing suffering yourself. :/ I can’t understand people who love animals enough to be vegan but not enough to take the time to learn about animals.<p>

Vegan cat food is all about companies making lots of money off ignorance, and it makes animals suffer in the meantime. No animal nutritionist will ever tell you it’s ok to feed a cat vegan if they have any qualifications at all. It’s biologically impossible for a cat to meet nutritional needs without animal protein.
Now if you want to feed your cat more humanely… Check state laws. If you are able to butcher, often in the winter months deer are hit on the road and frozen quick, meaning they are safe to eat for anyone, but kitty for sure. Most states allow for individuals to collect road kill. One deer will feed a cat for several months- just get some taurine from the vet to sprinkle on it if you are cooking it (which you will likely need to as a lot lf the meat can be tough).

I would not change your cat’s diet without consulting an animal nutritionist, just to be safe.
