I wanted to be a vegetarian at age 3 my mom always told me no. I went to Northwest Youth Corps for a summer job and came back a vegetarian and stood up to my mom and refused meat. I was age 16 and a childhood dream came true I joined Peta2 when I was I think 16? I don’t know but it was with the old site. I thought I would never make that many points or get the word out. But now I am in the top 100! and I have people on twitter fallowing me with animals rights. One person can make a difference. I am learning that more and more

Have been Vegetarian since birth.
19 now.

And Peta2,around 8 months back.

I told my mom I wanted to be vegetarian at 10, and she said vegetarians ate chicken and fish (how foolish of me to believe; she’s still convinced they do lol) and I went “vegetarian”, but it lasted like a year and I returned to be a meal-eater because of various reasons (how shameful).
I went vegan this year (15) thanks to the Ellen Degeneres’ show and from that point on I searched on my own and found this site I’m so happy I did, even though my parents tried to make me change my mind, I didn’t. Now my mom says it’s a little overwhelming, but she respects me, and my dad makes fun of me but at least doesn’t try to make me go back to being a meat-eater,

I first went Lacto-Vegetarian at 15, as a result of discovering peta.
My parents then made me eat fish, because they believed I lacked protein in my diet, which was true, because I didn’t know how to eat a proper vegetarian diet.

Now, at 20, I’ve finally become fully vegan and feel healthier than ever before in my life
