There are vegan aisles at supermarkets now? Lol whut?
Where do you live?
Over here in England in our supermarkets there is a small fridge labelled ‘vegetarian’ and it is compromised of Quorn, Linda Mcartney and the supermarkets own brands of vegetarian mince, sausages, burgers and chicken. All of which contain eggs or milk. I think only Linda Mcartney sausages are vegan, or they used to be anyway.
If you’re vegan round here its soy milk, fruit, vegetables and tofu. But lush selection if you’re vegetarian thanks to Quorn.

I can’t stand it when someone says they love animals when they fucking eat them :S

We don’t have a vegan isle here, though we have the “fake meat section,” some being vegan and some being just veg.
I have heard of a lot of people getting mislabeled stuff at bakeries and such that had a vegan sticker on them and then when the person looked at the ingredients contained honey

Ha ha so true! But oh well XD Just have to check the ingredients all the time! (I do so it doesn’t matter XD)

Tell me about it. The selection is terrible in most grocery stores here. I should start writing to them.

lolol I know of no store that has like a pure veg*n section. Sometimes they have a few shelves in one freezer if they carry enough morning star, boca etc. Same with veg*n milk just a couple of shelves in one fridge. Then tofu and a few other mock sandwich meats are just thrown with the vegetables. Also yea a lot of time those types of things are put next to the more organic, natural, more healthy options that can look confusing.

I wish I had a store nearby with a vegan section! I have to scope out all of the yummy vegan finds at my grocer.

I can’t stand it when my local store breaks the organics aisle in half just to fill a side with summer seasonal crap. It breaks up my flow since I visit it first.

I can’t stand it! I bought a couple bags (about 2-3) of veggie shreds because it was cheaper than dayia. I get home and look at the nutrition label. BAM Dairy and casein.

I agree, very annoying. I cant count how many times I’ve been in a rush and have headed to an isle that I thought had all vegan food, bought something, got to the car and was about to eat it, that I realised it wasnt vegan :/ leave a suggestion in their suggestion box is they have one

When stores put non veg*n items in the veg*n section of the isle. It’s so frustrating!
