MY dog is about 3 years old, her name is Olive. We’ve noticed a large pink oily looking bump forming on her leg. My family and I aren’t in a very great place financially and the fact that I’m seventeen means that I don’t have a say in where we take the dog to get her checked out. My grandma is taking her to Pet Supplies Plus tomorrow (OUT OF ALL PLACES?!?!). I just really need some help. I love my dog so much she’s been my best friend since we got her and I don’t trust the people at Pet Supplies Plus. I want her to see a real vet. I don’t know what to do ):

i’d be careful because airbourne viruses can spread, that’s why i make sure not to take my rats around petstores or any animals that i don’t know (even if they look healthy)

This page has some good advice on what it could possible be:

Is Olive licking at it a lot? It’s possible it could be a tick or a ‘hot spot’ (where something has irritated or become trapped beneath the skin).

My dog that’s a lab, he’s almost 9, he had one on his right hind leg and we went and got it removed and he got an exam. What he got removed was an ingrown hair and he has fat desposits on his body which is totally normal for animals. Most good pet stores (clearly not PECTO or Petsmart) will know a lot about the dog!
