okay so this is my first post, i want to start by saying i’m finally committed to the idea of becoming vegan.

i have one real issue though, and that’s money. i literally can’t find anywhere to buy cheap cleaning products for me and the house? they all seem to start at about ten pounds each for a ridiculous sized bottle. i also can’t find anywhere to buy fairly decent priced boots/shoes.

i would seriously appreciate any help of where to locate these cheaper products, and how to get a good diet on a low income. thanks.

keep in mind that white distilled vinegar and baking soda can clean pretty much anything.
And they are both quite cheap.

    Hey @ayton,

Going vegan is actually super cheap! :) Beans, rice, potatoes, and veggies are all some of the cheapest, easiest to find, and healthiest things that you can possibly eat.

Also, a lot of grocery stores already sell vegan cleaning and personal care products. Check out a complete list of cruelty-free products here: http://features.peta2.com/shopcrueltyfree/. :)

Oh, and check out our fashion page (http://www.peta2.com/lifestyle/fashion/) for super cute and affordable shoes!

I take it from using the “pounds” your British so I’d suggest Superdrug own brand for bathroom products and you many be able to find household ones in there also. If you feel like treating yourself try Lush.

Shoes can be bought anywhere really you just need to look at the product materials, vegan shoes can be found anywhere really you just need to look for them and then know what you’re looking for.

Diet can be pretty simple and difficult when you don’t know what to look for. I’d suggest lentils as they’re pretty inexpensive and full of protein but other than that I don’t know too much (student Lol)
