I am planning the year ahead, I am hoping to get my little five year old niece more active and in better weight so after summer she can join dance with out being made fun of.
I am slightly heavy due to not eating propperly as well as not wishing to go outside in the cold really but this year that changes.
    First, I am going Vegetarian!
Second, I am walking a lot more and making sure to eat better.

Anyway back on subject. I am planning things to do this summer with my niece and so I was thinking of trips to the park.
What would be good and healthy to bring? Mind you it must be healthy things a five year old would eat.

Hummus is great with most vegetables to dip and tofurkey sandwiches are a delicious sub for meat sandwiches.

That’s so nice of you to do ! :) Also, congrats on going vegetarian :D Things like apple slices (or really any fresh fruit cut up) cut up veggies (carrots, cucumbers, broccoli etc.) crackers and cheese, dry cereal (like cheerios, raisin bran and other low in sugar cereals) pita with hummus dip, yogurt cups (low in sugar ones) and rice cakes :) You could also make some healthy baked goods like carrot muffins, zucchini bread, banana bread etc. Hope this helps, and good luck ! :)
