I used to have similar symptoms, and discovered it was lactose intolerance. Now I just drink soymilk or almond milk. Yes, lactose intolerance can develop, for example some young adults with lactose intolerance used to be able to drink milk when they were younger. Anyways, soymilk and almond milk are cruelty free, yay!

That totally happens! Before I went anything, I was okay with pretty much all food, but since going vegan, I won’t say I’m allergic, but my body reacts to nuts and sugar a lot quicker than before. So it may be something that popped up because you went veg!

I think people have a natural aversion to milk, because well it’s not really suppose to be consumed by us. Just over time people ignore it, I’ve noticed that milk often caused this to me too. And when I eat things with high amounts of milk like ice cream or something it upsets my stomach. I gave up milk about four years ago or something. I still consume things with milk like cake but not milk directly like milk or chocolate milk. I personally really like Soy Dream, or Almond Breeze. Make sure you keep trying vegan/veggie milks. because I went through three before I found one I could live with

I became lactose intolerant in my teens so it is possible. Try non-dairy alternatives and see if you notice any difference.

People can become lactose intolerant later in their life.
It’s actually more common than being born lactose intolerant.

Whenever I drink something the includes milk, hot chocolate for example, I would get stomach aches and then I have to go to the bathroom. I rarely drink milk anymore, if I do it’s at school or in something that isn’t all milk. Could I gained a milk allergy or became lactose intolerant?
