Sure it’s okay if you check the ingredients…companies like Morningstar make lots of “veggie” burgers but only 1 is vegan. I don’t really like meat-tasting vegan foods so I mostly eat veggie/bean/grain-based burgers like Sunshine Burgers. Or I make my own!
I used to eat a lot of the faux meats and cheeses. (you just have to check, some have eggs and/or dairy in them…) and never had a problem with it. I only cut them out because I cut out all processed stuff.
Obviously, don’t let your entire diet consist of them, because that’s not healthy. You need fruit and veg. But they are a good source of protein.
