Foods for Life (Ezekiel Bread) makes gluten-free bread that is also vegan. My fav is the brown rice bread. (Or black rice if you don’t mind bread that’s purpley.)

I thought vegan bread was relatively easy to find then I learned about L-cysteine =/ Its a dough softener used in like literally every bread I have ever found. There are only two sources in commercial products, duck feathers and human hair, They have made synthesized versions, but due to high cost, everyone goes for the traditional sources.
Because of that crap I have not had french bread in a very long time, Good news though, Orowheat brand bread is 100% vegan and vegetarian, just make sure you buy straight Orowheat and *not* Orowheat Dutch County

Most bread is vegan, it tends to be the fancy stuff that’s not (look out for milk and honey).

Yep, a lot of bread out there is vegan! Just be sure to check the label. Oh, just FYI that Subway’s Italian bread is vegan-YUM! 🙂
