    First a clarification of real buttercrunch vs toffee…
    “English toffee is a plain candy made of sugar and butter, sometimes with added nuts. Buttercrunch is toffee that is coated with chocolate and crushed toasted almonds.”
    Yep, that’s the one I love…the sweet toffee-based, richly-chocolate-coated, liberally-almond-sprinkled pure vegan buttercrunch!
    Now, to the stove people!

    Vegan Toffee (it really is Buttercrunch!)

    3/4 cup Earth Balance Buttery Spread
    3/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
    Vegan Chocolate Chips
    Nuts of your choice, chopped
