    Hey @Caduceuse,

Many lambs who have undergone the mulesing mutilation still suffer slow, agonizing deaths from flystrike. The deep wounds from mulesing can also become infected. :( Even if they make it through flystrike and mulesing, many lambs are still sent to slaughter once their bodies are worn out and they stop producing as much wool. Read more about it here: http://www.peta2.com/blog/wtf-is-mulesing/.

E-mail us at peta2@peta2.com if you have any questions.

@Caduceuse You don’t think wool is cruel, you think zoos are amazing, you think fur can be acceptable. So tell me, are you here to get free stuff or just the pleasure of annoying us? Just curious… Sorry if that sounded rude. I’m in a bad mood, and the peta2 forum is usually a place where I can find people who understand me.

P.S. Wool IS cruel. Ever heard of mulesling? Yeah, go put that in on google images, and see if you still think wool’s fine. As for Uggs (sheepskin, not wool!) and fur… There is NO reason to wear dead skin in a “civilized” country.
