People who are saying that killing bugs quickly makes it painless – that’s the exact same argument meat eaters make when it comes to killing animals. You shouldn’t kill anything. I have a phobia of spiders that sends me into a panic attack but I still won’t kill them because that’s cruel. I just have to call someone to come over and release it outside.
If you see an insect inside your house move it outside it get someone else to do it. Otherwise there’s no reason to going near them at all.
Don’t unnecessarily kill anything.
You can just catch insects in a jar (or something) and put them outside. There’s no need to kill them. You’ll get good at catching them. (Ants can be lured out of your house by cleaning up whatever food they’re eating. Then follow their trail outside and put a little sugar water by it and wait a day for them all to leave the house.)
When it comes to parasites like lice, ticks & fleas you may choose to defend yourself (or a loved one) by killing them as quickly & painlessly as possible.
My boyfriend and I try not to kill any bugs and whenever possible we just put them outside. We like spiders so usually we just leave them since they eat the other bugs, but when they get too big we put them outside. However, a few months ago we had an ant problem and my boyfriend would kill them since there were just too many to put out.
