• Lobsters Feel, Too!

It’s sad what many would call tonight’s dinner — lobster. Lobsters are far more sensible than you’d think and they deserve respect just as well as any other creature.
Check it out: “When going out for a nice dinner, people usually associate nice with expensive. But expensive isn’t the only thing that comes to most people’s minds, in particular they think of “fancy” food like lobster and steak. For these people, taste is what they are satisfying. Logic on the other hand? Not so much. Besides the high price these people pay for dinner, what about the serious price these animals pay… their lives…

For a long time, it seems many people believed that these lobsters couldn’t feel pain from being from the crustacean familia. But in contrary to what seafood sellers have convinced, or tried to convince consumers, these animals do feel pain! Maybe even more than humans would in this situation, studies show.”

I’ll never understand why a “fancy” dinner had to include so much cruelty–boiling lobsters alive is just the tip of the iceberg. Foie gras? Veal? Uggh.

Exactly! It’s so sad how people can be so naive and selfish..

I certainly don’t doubt that they feel pain; all animals do. And many are much more intelligent than people give them credit for.
