I love going to visit my uncle…he’s a crazyfun teacher and world traveler and art collector, plus one of the best vegan chefs on the planet. He has an amaaaazing cookbook collection so he was overthemoon happy when I got him “Pure Vegan”…it’s full of fabulous foods and photos and is almost too beautiful to use but of course he does! My favorites so far are the Muhammara, Jicama Salad and Pistachio Olive Oil Cake…yumza! I should have gotten a copy of this book for myself but for now I’m happy to sample dishes like this…

I don’t know any other really good vegan cooks. My mum’s partner is an excellent chef but he cooks everything including dead animals. He’s made some gorgeous vegan chocolate bread though… I’ve got the recipe somewhere…
My favourite cookbook definitely is the PETA College Cookbook, all the recipes are so simple that even I can follow them!!
