French bread, also known as a baguette, is a long thin loaf with a fluffy inside and a lightcrispy outside. It’ll melt you with senseless delight when eaten fresh, but it’ll turn baseball bat hard after a day or so. Best way to avoid a jaw-busting baguette is to A. live above a French bakery (ummmmyes!) or B. make it yourself. Really easy, definitely worth it, especially hot from the oven with melty vegan butter on top…yumza! 😉
