So I emailed Peta a long time ago about this and they haven’t been able to respond. I watched a video a little bit ago about how Mars candy were testing on animals and stuff and I was just wondering if they still were or if there was an update on it because I haven’t been eating any of it because of that

@loveall I guess I should cut out on the skittles.

Mars doesn’t just own sweets/chocolate they own brands like Uncle Ben’s and stuff.

I hadn’t heard of that- that’s horrible! Just goes to show how much this stuff is under the radar. I’m not a chocolate eater myself, but my family is, so I’ll definitely pass it along. I think PETA should show this one a bit more love- since, y’know, a lot of people love to eat their stuff.

3 Musketeers, Celebrations, Dove, Ethel-M,Kudos, M&M’s, Mars, Milky Way, Skittles, Snickers, Starburst, and Twix are the largest products they make. If you and your friends boycott these products, maybe Mars will turn away from these cruel test. Hershey’s has tons of delicious products that are cruelty free as far as they do not test their products on animals. Also, they are Mars’s biggest competitor ;)

    Hey @Kaycalee,

Yes—Mars continues to perform cruel and deadly experiments on animals, even though there are more reliable non-animal tests available! Click here: http://marscandykills.com/moreways.asp for ways that you can speak up for these animals.

E-mail me at AnnieL@peta2.com if you have any quesitons. :)

We need to start campaigning against this! :[ Tell them to stop so I can eat a snickers XD although I know it’s not vegan.. I think.. O.o pretty sure… >.> However I am not vegan..
And I use to love these candy bars.. but gave them up.. when I found out about mars. -_-
Sometimes I just want to eat one.. but I remember.. that I can’t..shouldn’t.. animal testing is wrong..and that I won’t stand for if I can help it!

I think they still are testing on animals. Don’t eat Mars candy because they’re unhealthy anyways
