Michigan Sugar Company

I contacted Michigan Sugar Company, they produce sugar under the names Pioneer sugar and Big Chief sugar.
I wanted to let you all know that their sugar is vegan beet sugar, and is not processed through bone char
It may be a more affordable vegan sugar option for some of you. Pioneer sugar is sold at Meijers. I’m not sure where else the brands can be found. But the pricing it fairly close to that of regular sugar.
Store brand sugar is 2.88 per 5lb bag. Pioneer is 3.75 per 5lb bag.
While it is a little more, it definitely costs less than the pure cane sugar I’ve been using.
Just wanted to put that out there for you guys.
