Hi,I am going to have a big get together with some of my friends this weekend,
who are trying to go vegan with me but aren’t sure. And I was wanting to have a movie night with them,Know any really good animals rights movies/documentaries
That I can watch with them for the occasion?I think if they can watch movies about
animal rights,it will help make up their minds and push them in the right direction!
    Thank you.

@Cannablissfully I’ve seen Earthlings (informative and graphic about how animals are treated) and Rise of the Planet of the Apes (fictional movie about animals used for experiments). I also saw Vegucated on Netflix: “In this documentary, three meat- and cheese-loving New Yorkers agree to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks. Lured with true tales of weight lost and health regained, they begin to uncover the hidden sides of animal agriculture.”

    Here’s a list of movies from peta2:

Thank you! Vegucated sounds like a cool movie I like the name of it lol,
I am totally gonna watch that one with my buddies! I already watched earthlings with them, one of my friends didn’t wanna keep watching it and begged me to please turn it off it was too sad.. So I had to for her sake. But she is now seriously wanting to go vegan too now so I am happy about that!

The most obvious one is ‘Earthlings’ but it’s not easy to watch.

‘Fast Food Nation’ is more like a traditional film (ie. it has a storyline, it’s not a documentary) but with a good message inside it about the meat industry.

If you like animation films and want to discuss animal experimentation then I recommend ‘The Plague Dogs’, it’s old but still great.

      Thank you :) That’s helpful.
I also found a list of other good films
by looking around myself,so we’ll have
plenty to watch to educate. Earthlings sounds
like a really good choice too.Sometimes we need
to see how real the animals suffering really is,Before we make the
choice to avoid eating meat or wearing fur or any other means of
      promoting their suffering.
