Some people are shit, all you can do is either reply with a witty quip and walk away or completely ignore them. As the vegan chick I ran into told me a few weeks ago ‘Just remember, you’re going to live longer than them so don’t listen to anything they say otherwise.’

Respond with the facts. If, say, someone was to make fun of you for not eating meat, respond with something unquestionable, a fact (not an opinion). Try not to sound degrading towards them, just present them with the truth. Good luck! :)

People who pick on others are often jealous or they feel threatened. Just take everything in stride. You can be the nicest person in the world, but there’s still going to be some one who doesn’t like you. Just be you! When people make fun of you, don’t be afraid to stick up for your beliefs, a simple comeback such as ‘I’m happy with the choices I make.’ can be very effective. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said; “Genius always finds itself a century too early.” Best of luck :)

When they make fun of you say “thank you”, it will through them off guard, and they will leave you alone:P … it might not work all the time, but it usually does (: … Just stand for what you believe in, no matter what others say! ^-^ Hope I helped!

I get the same responces. I live in an area where people hunt just to do it and then carve up the animals in their front yards in a family gathering (not joking). The best response would be to engage them in intelligent debate about it. Get their gears turning in their heads. Most people get defensive about things they do that they do not want to give up simply because it’s wrong. They know they’re being hypocrites, but they just don’t want to admit it to themselves. The brain has a powerful way of lying to itself, even when presented with facts that say the opposite.
