So I was a vegetarian for two years then relapsed D: I know, I know.. But I am in the process of giving it another college go! But I remember from last time that my hair would get very, very, very thin and I really don’t want this to happen again when I give it another try. Tips?
also the protien thing its really rare to have a protien deficiency but you can by whey(milk derived) protien powder or soy protien powder and add it to smoothies or any drinks to get a little extra also the thing with protien is that you have to eat a balanced diet in order to get all the amino acids from food that will make up a complete protien protien from animal products and soy are already complete but most others are lacking in a few of the amino acids so just make sure you get a balamce of everything throughout the day :legumes(beans,lentils, peas), green veggies(spinach brocoli lettuce), fruits, whole grains, and fats (nuts, oils peanut butter,etc) to make sure you are getting complete protien
i take the sundown naturals hair skin and nails multi vitamin im not sure if its completely vegan or not but i doubt theres large amounts of anything animal derived also its common to loose hair after an extreme diet change lol i looked it up after reading your post and ussually after awhile your hair grows normally again. the only bad thing about all the different hair vitasmins ive taken is they all smell and taste nasty lol so i usually take them befor i brush my teeth (sorry this post was kinda all over the place im exhausted)
